US Army Corps of Engineers Studies and Projects

The following study and projects are currently part of the Los Angeles District's program. 

Los Angeles District studies/projects in the Southern California area (overall, including the relevant Los Angeles River-related studies/projects linked below.

Los Angeles River Ecosystem Restoration Study - This is a Congressionally-authorized General Investigation feasibility study for environmental ecosystem restoration, flood control, recreation, and other aspects for the revitalization of the Los Angeles River that is consistent with the goals of the Los Angeles River Revitalization Master Plan published by the City of Los Angeles. Under this study authority, the Corps is also authorized to construct demonstration  projects in order to provide information relevant to the feasibility study.
